Guys and gals, still remember "Light Peak"? I hope that it is still fresh in your mind. In conjunction with Apple's MacBook Pro launch, Intel has revealed Light Peak's official name, Thunderbird. The MacBook Pro is the first device that comes with the Thunderbird I/O which will be backwards and forwards-compatible with PCI Express 2.0, FireWire or eSATA.
